It took me a while to find the right location for this shot. Eventually I found this old brick factory on an industrial park. In this photograph I was trying to portray the feelings of isolation, loneliness, solitude etc. With the figure lying in the lower left-hand corner and the large expanse of brick wall above him, I was trying to show how powerless, exposed and vulnerable he is. As far as the viewer is concerned, he has no face, no identity, no age. I think I managed to achieve the emotional atmosphere I was hoping for.
Photograph taken using a Kodak DX4530 (5.0 megapixels, 3x optical zoom).
It's very sad to see that, but it's true, it's our society, very rich with money but very bad to help humanity....sorry,I don't find my words in english
Very goOd shot
This is a beautifully measured shot with an overwhelming presence. It certainly achieves what you set out to do. Nice, very nice work, to say the least. I have a piece on my sight that I painted, and ironically the driving force was similar to yours...the wasll which isolated his as well. Take care...good solid work. Denis

You're that tree falling in the forest that nobody gives a rat's ass about.
Since change is constant, you wonder if people crave death because it's the only way they can get anything really finished.

Did you get someone to lay there? Or was it you or an actual lonely man?
